Coach James Allen "POP", Operations Manager

My name is James Allen. I was born and raised in Broward County, FL. I played youth football for the Ft. Lauderdale Hurricanes, Lauderhill Lions, and the Southwest Saints. I attended Dillard Elementary School, William Dandy Middle School, and Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. I played football and ran track when I attended STA. I received a scholarship to the University of Massachusetts. After 2 years, I transferred to Charleston Southern University and earned a Criminal Justice Bachelors degree Cum Laude Honors. I earned All-American Honors as a football player, as well as, All Conference. Prior to police work, I played football in the CFL (Canadian Football League). After retiring from football, I wanted to give back to the youth by coaching football and track & field and working as a substitute teacher/mentor at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. I got into police work because, growing up in Broward County, I witnessed the disconnect between law enforcement and the community. My goal as a police officer is to do everything I can to help bridge that gap. I am passionate about using my platform to connect with the community through educating others and being a positive role model for generations before me and generations to come.
